What Will President Biden Do With U.S. Missile Defense?

Joe Biden never has been much impressed with plans to protect the United States against attacks by long-range ballistic missiles.

During the Reagan years, he fought proposals to loosen the U.S. interpretation of the Anti-Ballistic Missile treaty so that a “strategic defense initiative” could be pursued. During Bush 43, he opposed the administration’s decision to withdraw from the same treaty.
