Iran Shuns Reported U.S. Offer on Nuclear Deal

A U.S. proposal reportedly demanding Iran halt its current nuclear enrichment in exchange for sanctions removal was turned down by the Iranian side.

Iran expressed no delight in a reported U.S. offer to revive the 2015 nuclear deal formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). “No proposal is needed for the U.S. to rejoin the JCPOA,” tweeted the Iranian mission at the United Nations.
